Then the surgeon will use a gloved hand to conduct a vaginal examination and will check the size and location of the uterus by pressing on your lower abdomen.
Your doctor will then use a retractor to open the vagina.
Once the cervix is visible, a forceps is used to grasp the front lip of the cervix …
and to pull it forward – causing the uterus to open.
Through that opening, your doctor will insert an instrument called a hysteroscope.
A hysteroscope allows the surgical team to insert all necessary optical and surgical instruments into the uterus. Medical Malpractice
At the beginning of the procedure, a harmless gas or fluid will be introduced into the uterus, causing it to expand.

By inflating the uterus slightly, your doctor is better able to reach the operative site.
Next, a wire loop is inserted. This loop is used to grab the fibroid tissue and snip it free from the muscular wall of the uterus. Medical Malpractice
When your doctor is satisfied that all fibrous tissue has been removed,
the hysteroscope and all other instruments are withdrawn. The gas or fluid is allowed to escape …
and the uterus returns to its normal shape.

Is a malpractice suit inevitable if you become a doctor?

Published by admin on April 10, 2010

If you become a doctor are the odds that one day you will face malpractice great? Is there a sorce that gives a number on how many doctors are sued each year?

definately inevitible. that is why all doctors have malpractice insurance:
1: everyone makes a mistake at some point

2. we are a law-suit filing kind of country aparently

you should be able to check with the state medical board (or medical insurance board…which would be more accurate) for the statistics in your area.

How do I report a New York State Licensed Doctor for Malpractice confidentiality without suing him?

Published by admin on April 4, 2010

why are you afraid of this doctor?2) you can not make a report against any person if you don’t have facts in hand and the medical and dental association will not take action against him.
you need to put an affidavit before the MADA and you case of malpractice against the doctor and you have to give MADA all the Information about exactly what had taken place with the doctor and you you can not hide your name you just could be bias against this doctor or he or she could had an affair with him and things went sour between you and the doctor and you want to get back by reporting him if you don"t have a genuine case against him don’t waste your time because you will not get any help MADA remember that never advance to something that you can not proof and not prepared to give your name.

How do you find out if a doctor has been sued for malpractice?

Published by admin on April 2, 2010

Hi, I am looking at different doctors for a cosmetic procedure and I wanted to check their malpractice history. I want to know if they have ever been accused of malpractice in their career? How do I do this and is it free? Thanks!!!

You can check your state’s medical board.
You can also check your County Clerk’s Offices
Interview the doctor
Ask for references from clients.
Also ask if he/she practiced medicine in any other state. Then check the state medical boards there.
Also ask if there have been any suits filed. The doctors office should be able to provide that information upon request
You can try this site
